Beating your kids

In my opinion, I believe the desire that some people have to beat their hypothetical children counters the claims that they “turned out fine”. People learn from their mistakes so if you always punish someone for their mistakes it causes them to not only be afraid to make mistakes but also afraid to try anything new in fear of failure. Failure and mistakes shouldn’t be punished, they are learning moments. I believe the desire to beat your hypothetical children is you displacing your fear , rage , and trauma you felt from the beatings you received onto your future child. Don’t beat your children, talk to them instead and see how that methods works out. Violence doesn’t solve everything.
